Scientists and philosophers say that every form of life on this earth inhabits a different universe. For example when a cat sees a bird he sees the form, shape and everything what a cat is in an entirely different way to what a human sees a cat. And we humans see the other humans differently because we each inhabit a different universe .

With the billions upon billions of universes how more amazing can it become?

I see your point, but does this mean that we can never know what its like in another animals universe?..

I suppose what you’re saying is: For a cat the cat is the intelligence of the cat universe just as the human is the intelligence of the human universe..

Makes you wander whether in the cat universe the cats see humans as a version of a pet, basically the way how cats regards or define pets..

How do i stop my cat from attacking my birds cage?

My mom has 2 birds and a new cat. The cat naturally goes to the bird cages and attacks them. I want her to keep the kitty cuz its only 5 months old and soo cute and nice and sweet but she likes the birds and the cat and would get rid of hte cat if anything. HELP!

Spray some water to the cat every time it attacks the cage until the cat stops.

Why does my amazon bird smell funny?

I have had her bathed professionally, but she has a musky smell that is quite offensive.

Bad new, that is Amazon your smelling, they have a pungent off colored scent to them, it will not go away, it’s just part of an Amazon. All amazons smell that way, some stronger then others.
But it’s normal. Most birds have a similar smell, only fainter. You can buy bird bath at the supply house and that should take it down a bit, but you need to do it daily to make a difference, make sure there are no drafts and it’s not to cool in the room and give him a good spray. That’s what they are doing anyway at the groomers and it’s just not often enough to make a difference. You will never rid her of the odor completely.

I left cat food(IAMS) out in our patio and birds are eating it like crazy…is it safe for them?

Does anyone know if it will make them sick? They wont stop coming. It’s actually pretty cool to see these wild birds. and our cat just sits by the sliding door in a attack mode position. but mostly she watches them and meows loudly. So if anyone knows..please let me know.

and NO I will never let my cat harm the birds…

Most birds are omnivores. Many are insectivores. The cat food is very nutritious for them, and they are overjoyed to be getting a free lunch.

How do I control, not necessarily prevent, birds from coming to my garden pond?

Hi ther! So I’ve posted before re: garden ponds. At first it was murky water, then dead birds, and now… too many birds! I love nature, but the old addage "too much of a good thing" definitely applies to my pond. I don’t mind birds seeking water, a quick bath, etc. (after all, that’s the point, I know), but I seem to be getting TOO many visitors. Today I cam ehome to an abundance of bird excrement in, on and around the pond. Had to drain it again (gross), clean the stones and water in the stuff on the plants surrounding. Is there any thing to help "control" the feather friends, or should I just fill in the hole and give up? For health reasons, smell and ultimately just plain appearance, I can’t have another day like today. Thanks for your suggestions!

Buy a bird bath as an alternative to using your pond. No guarantees , but better than netting the area. How many, and which types of bird can cause you to drain your pond ? Surely only Ducks ?

I am suprised too how sweet he is with little birds and animals. Maybe because I got him when he was just 2 weeks of age ! I even took him to the movie theater – he slept the whole 2½ hours straight. But NOW he is so big, that his head wouldn’t fit under my shirt! *LOL* DDD
Duck is only week old ! This was Lucky’s very first day to meet Duck.
